Lynn Loar, Ph.D., LCSW, is the president of the Pryor Foundation, an organization which promotes behavioral change through positive reinforcement. She specializes in recreational and animal-assisted therapy, and runs the program for children with special needs at the Winter Lodge in Palo Alto, CA.
Libby Colman, Ph.D., is a social psychologist, writer, videographer and illustrator in San Rafael, CA. Her publications include books on parenting co-authored with Elizabeth Bing.
Loar and Colman’s collaborations include Teaching Empathy: Animal-Assisted Therapy Programs for Children and Families Exposed to Violence and TAGs on Ice: Teaching New Skills to Children with Special Needs and Their Families.
